Witch of the Amazon Matinta Pereira is an old lady with matted hair and ragged clothes. During the day she walks disheveled and barefoot around town asking its inhabitants for coffee or smoke. At night she flies over them carrying an owl on her shoulder and making a screeching noise to haunt anyone who was mean to her that day.
